Google chrome is my favorite browser. Its fast and have a simple user interface. But the only problem is, it has got the worst download manager among its competitors. It does not have option to resume broken download. Its annoying when you are downloading a large file and download interrupted at last stage due to network problem.
One solution for this is, by integrating third party download manager to Google chrome. Free download manager is a good option in this category. You can download it from freedownloadmanager.org .
After downloading and installing it, you have to integrate it with your browser. To do that,
- Close all browsers. Then open free download manager.
- Click Ctrl +o or open options -> settings from menu
- In settings window, click monitoring and check the Google chrome or any other browser you want to integrate to FDM
- Thats it. Now whenever you download anything, it will be transferred to FDM and download from there. You can easily stop or resume your downloads now.

I will post another post about resuming interrupted downloads. Although its very difficult or sometimes impossible, you can always avoid interruptions by using this method I mensioned above
