Microsoft surface is tablet launched by the microsoft. Not much specification is currently available.
The main difference you can notce between microsoft surface and apple ipad is its keypad. 2 covers are available with it. one is touch cover and other is type cover. Both can be used as protective cover and when opened , you can use it as typing pad. I think that is a fantastic feature for those who dont like virtual keypad in other tabs like ipad.
The other main difference in its operationg system. microsoft offers 2 versions of this tab, one with windows 8 OS and other with windows RT.
