This is an error that can occur if some library files are modified or deleted. I got this error whenever I opened adobe photoshop , revo uninstaller etc. After searching online for sometime I got a small softaware which corrected this error. You can get a trial version or buy full version of that software from here System sentry . After downloading and istalling this software , run a system sacn. It will prompt to restart system. After restarting , Scan the system with that software. It will ask to give path to your windows XP cd. Insrt CD in your drive and continue scan . It will take some time. After that it will automatically fix most of the problems in system files. You can also make some necessary changes to system files with the help of this tool
